Striking monochrome in a Gothenburg home

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Hello! The week has been very mixed hasn't it? An inspiring work <a href="http://www.329db.blogspot.se/2015/02/the-fab-light-filled-studio-of-camille.html" target="_blank">studio in the US,</a> a Scandinavian style <a href="http://www.329db.blogspot.se/2015/02/inspiration-from-alejandrinas-beautiful.html" target="_blank">apartment in Mexico</a> and a <a href="http://www.329db.blogspot.se/2015/02/a-harmonious-swedish-space.html" target="_blank">calm Stockholm home</a>. Have you had a favourite? I thought I'd finish the week (see below) with a beautiful space in Sweden's second largest city - Gothenburg. The guys at <a href="http://entrancemakleri.se/hem-till-salu/objekt/493179/" target="_blank">Entrance</a> have worked their magic once again and created this fab monochrome space which is now<a href="http://entrancemakleri.se/hem-till-salu/objekt/493179/" target="_blank"> for sale</a>. (<i>I know</i>!) I think my favourite touch is the black stairs. The stunning Bavarian home of a photographer

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">You know when homes have a friend's name written all over them? This incredible space found over at <a href="http://www.vosgesparis.com/2015/02/an-industrial-home-with-authentic.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Vosges Paris </a> <i>was made </i>for my sister, Cas! She loves vintage pieces (cinema seats, step ladders, tables), art photography and industrial lighting.  But the home of German photographer <a href="http://wertvollfotografie.de/" target="_blank">Petra Reger </a>and her family in Kompton, Bavaria is oh so much more too. Petra's home decorating style is part industrial, part vintage, part designer, part rock 'n' roll. Throw in the beautiful bones of the apartment including the original plaster wall in the kitchen and 100 year old parquet flooring and the result is an incredibly striking and unique home fit for a creative. A serene Norwegian space in monochrome and nudes

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">It's the weekend - woooop! But before we all shoot off, let's head to Norway for today's home tour. This space belongs to Nina Holst of <a href="http://stylizimoblog.com/" target="_blank">Stylizimo</a> blog. Nina moved home last year and since her <a href="http://www.329db.blogspot.se/2013/01/guest-post-ninas-beautiful-norwegian.html" target="_blank">previous home</a> was so fab and included this famous <a href="http://www.329db.blogspot.se/2014/02/tuesday-diy-fab-walk-in-wardrobe-on.html" target="_blank">walk-in-wardrobe</a>, I've been eagerly awaiting to see what she was going to do with the new pad. And it certainly doesn't disappoint! Nina has stuck to her signature black, white and nude colour scheme and played with the beautiful light. The Stockholm home of a fashion stylist

Monochrome and nude scheme in a lovely Scottish home

I remember our student pad was painted in vivid colours such as deep reds, blues and yellow, with each room a different hue. The modern monochrome Stockholm space

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Hello! How are you today?! I have to say, I've really taken to working from home. After 12 years of working in an office, there's a lot to be said for sitting at my laptop in chunky knit socks and messy undone <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/nikiatmsh/hair/" target="_blank">hair</a>! Of course, working from home depends very much on the environment. For example, imagine working from home in this apartment of Swedish photographer <a href="http://www.jakobnylund.com/" target="_blank">Jakob Nylund</a> (previously shown <a href="http://www.329db.blogspot.se/2012/05/monochrome-home-of-swedish-photographer.html" target="_blank">here</a>) over looking the rooftops of Södermalm, Stockholm? Tina Fussell's lovely Danish home

I'm not sure if you remember, but last summer I had a visit from the wonderful stylist <a href="http://www.avenuelifestyle.com/" target="_blank">Holly Marder</a> and photographer <a href="http://www.jkf.nl/" target="_blank">Jansje Klazinga</a> (resulting in <a href="http://www.jkf.nl/-/galleries/editorial-sales/nikki-malm-lr" target="_blank">these shots</a> of my home). As part of their tour they also photographed <a href="http://travelingmama.net/" target="_blank">Tina Fussell</a>'s home in Copenhagen. I've had the pleasure of meeting Tina of <a href="http://travelingmama.net/" target="_blank">Traveling Mamma</a> several times and she's as lovely as she is talented (Tina works as a stylist, <a href="http://travelingmama.net/our-flying-h-in-dutch-magazine-ariadne-at-home/" target="_blank">blogger</a> and photographer. Seeing my name among <a href="http://thehive-conference.com/speakers/" target="_blank">the list of speakers</a> makes it scarily real and so exciting - I can't wait to share some of the things I've learned about blogging over the years.
