Inspiration from Alejandrina's beautiful home

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">It's safe to say <a href="http://www.alebesso.com/2013/08/hello.html" target="_blank">Alejandrina Bessoberto</a> has impeccable taste. That is, if the beautiful vignettes she captures of her home are anything to go by. But there's something unusual about the space too. Looking at the clean, monochrome style peppered with warm, natural wood, you'd be forgiven for thinking she's located in the heart of Scandinavia or at least has Nordic roots. In fact, Alejandrina lives in an apartment in Cabo San Lucas, México with her husband and (incredibly sweet) child where she works as a freelance graphic designer and an interior design student. The stunning Bavarian home of a photographer

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">You know when homes have a friend's name written all over them? This incredible space found over at <a href="http://www.vosgesparis.com/2015/02/an-industrial-home-with-authentic.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Vosges Paris </a> <i>was made </i>for my sister, Cas! She loves vintage pieces (cinema seats, step ladders, tables), art photography and industrial lighting.  But the home of German photographer <a href="http://wertvollfotografie.de/" target="_blank">Petra Reger </a>and her family in Kompton, Bavaria is oh so much more too. Petra's home decorating style is part industrial, part vintage, part designer, part rock 'n' roll. Throw in the beautiful bones of the apartment including the original plaster wall in the kitchen and 100 year old parquet flooring and the result is an incredibly striking and unique home fit for a creative. A charming and relaxed Dutch home

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">This lovely home by a canal in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, oozes charm and happiness. The family of four - Irene, her husband and two little girls - designed the living space themselves and centred everything around the home-made dining table where they like to gather. When Irene is not working as an assistant Product Manager she is busy hunting for flee market finds and working on cool DIY projects around her home which are documented on her <a href="http://studiowolk.nl/" target="_blank">blog</a>. An eclectic home in sunny California

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">I love it when you've been looking for a solution and then you spot something in a home and think - <i>why yes, of course</i>! For example, I was drooling over this fab, eclectic family home of <a href="http://instagram.com/amberthrane" target="_blank">Amber Thrane</a>, co-founder of <a href="http://www.dulcetcreative.com/" target="_blank">Dulcet Creative</a> on <a href="http://theglitterguide.com/2014/12/16/california-home-tour-amber-thrane-dulcet-creative/?slide=1#content" target="_blank">Glitter Glide, </a>when I spotted the patio tiles...OK, her home is in sunny California, and mine's in southern sweden - but I think they could work in my own back yard, don't you? A lovely Dutch family home

The sun's out, the snow's glittering and Friday drinks are in the fridge<i>. </i>Plus I've founnd a fab home to keep us inspired through out the weekend (<i>love today!</i>). Owned by Maaike of art shop <a href="http://mydeerartshop.nl/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">My Deer</a>, her husband Jeffrey and two children in Holland, it's calm, relaxed and ever so slightly luxurious (bathroom in the bedroom<i>, how lovely!</i>). It's based on ‘<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Young_Girl_Reading" target="_blank">A Young Girl Reading</a>’ or 'The Reader' by the French artist Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732 – 1806). Such a beautiful piece! <br /><br />Is there anything that stands out to you?<br /><br />I'm off to enjoy a couple of days with my parents who are over visiting from London. Could you go all out geometric?

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">At the start of the week you're a allowed to go a little all out don't you think?! That's why I wanted to share this home in The Jardine district of Sao Paulo with you. The space belongs to a young lawyer who returned to Brazil after a spate in Italy.  He commissioned famous architect <a href="http://felipehess.com.br/" target="_blank">Filipe Hess</a> to renovate his newly acquired apartment to it's orginal 1950's former glory and at the same time reflect the relaxed European lifestyle he so enjoyed in Italy. The result is a beautiful mix of mid-century and industrial. And not a corner without a geometric pattern of some sort. Details from a lovely, relaxed and vibrant family home

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">After yesterday's 'man cave' (aka the fabulous <a href="http://329db.blogspot.se/2015/01/the-stockholm-home-of-fashion-stylist.html" target="_blank">Stockholm home</a> of a fashion stylist), I thought today it was only fair to go for something a little more feminine. Situated in the 'sunshine state' of Florida, this home belongs to photographer <a href="http://www.honeylakestudio.bigcartel.com/" target="_blank">Jen Smith</a>, her 'handy' husband and two children. Pitched against a mainly white background, the beauty of this lovely light filled space lies in the detail. Bold textiles, artwork which pops and botanical touches add a ray of sunshine to every corner of the home. And now that spring's on it's way (<i>I say, optimistically</i>) I'm loving oh so fab <a href="http://www.beklina.com/collections/house-objects/products/boucherouite-rug-2" target="_blank">Boucherouite</a> or <a href="https://www.kilim.com/shopping/productdetail/9645/Vintage-Turkish-Kilim-Rug" target="_blank">vintage kilim</a> rugs, bold <a href="https://www.etsy.com/se-en/shop/KilimRugStore/search?search_query=pillow&order=date_desc&view_type=gallery&ref=shop_search" target="_blank">Turkish Kilim</a> and <a href="https://www.etsy.com/se-en/listing/208455026/thailand-pillowpillow-decorcushion?ref=shop_home_active_11" target="_blank">intricate threadwork</a> pillows / cushions from Thailand.
