Striking monochrome in a Gothenburg home

An inspiring work <a href="http://www.329db.blogspot.se/2015/02/the-fab-light-filled-studio-of-camille.html" target="_blank">studio in the US,</a> a Scandinavian style <a href="http://www.329db.blogspot.se/2015/02/inspiration-from-alejandrinas-beautiful.html" target="_blank">apartment in Mexico</a> and a <a href="http://www.329db.blogspot.se/2015/02/a-harmonious-swedish-space.html" target="_blank">calm Stockholm home</a>. Have you had a favourite? I thought I'd finish the week (see below) with a beautiful space in Sweden's second largest city - Gothenburg. The guys at <a href="http://entrancemakleri.se/hem-till-salu/objekt/493179/" target="_blank">Entrance</a> have worked their magic once again and created this fab monochrome space which is now<a href="http://entrancemakleri.se/hem-till-salu/objekt/493179/" target="_blank"> for sale</a>. (<i>I know</i>!) I think my favourite touch is the black stairs. A harmonious Swedish space

Everything about this 1930's functionalist Stockholm home is just so harmonious. It belongs to Karolina Borg, stylist and founder of Swedish online magazine <a href="http://thewayweplay.se/" target="_blank">The Way We Play</a>, her husband and two little boys. It could be because I come from a family of sailors and spent much of my childhood on a boat off the south coast of England. I find it so therapeutic to watch the changing scenery. Inspiration from Alejandrina's beautiful home

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">It's safe to say <a href="http://www.alebesso.com/2013/08/hello.html" target="_blank">Alejandrina Bessoberto</a> has impeccable taste. That is, if the beautiful vignettes she captures of her home are anything to go by. But there's something unusual about the space too. Looking at the clean, monochrome style peppered with warm, natural wood, you'd be forgiven for thinking she's located in the heart of Scandinavia or at least has Nordic roots. In fact, Alejandrina lives in an apartment in Cabo San Lucas, México with her husband and (incredibly sweet) child where she works as a freelance graphic designer and an interior design student. The fab light-filled studio of Camille Styles

Well yes, if you work in a space like this. Designed by <a href="http://clairezinneckerdesign.com/portfolio/commercial/camille-styles-office" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Claire Zinnecker</a>  for <a href="http://camillestyles.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Camille Styles</a>, the studio is filled with natural light, pops of bright colours and lush greenery. The stunning Bavarian home of a photographer

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">You know when homes have a friend's name written all over them? This incredible space found over at <a href="http://www.vosgesparis.com/2015/02/an-industrial-home-with-authentic.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Vosges Paris </a> <i>was made </i>for my sister, Cas! She loves vintage pieces (cinema seats, step ladders, tables), art photography and industrial lighting.  But the home of German photographer <a href="http://wertvollfotografie.de/" target="_blank">Petra Reger </a>and her family in Kompton, Bavaria is oh so much more too. Petra's home decorating style is part industrial, part vintage, part designer, part rock 'n' roll. Throw in the beautiful bones of the apartment including the original plaster wall in the kitchen and 100 year old parquet flooring and the result is an incredibly striking and unique home fit for a creative. A charming and relaxed Dutch home

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">This lovely home by a canal in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, oozes charm and happiness. The family of four - Irene, her husband and two little girls - designed the living space themselves and centred everything around the home-made dining table where they like to gather.
